Welcome

I am a clinician in Louisville, Colorado, in private practice since 1997. I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where I taught Lifespan Developmental Psychology for over ten years. I am known for my developmental focus and my understanding of how experience in childhood and adolescence relates to coping and adjustment in adult life.

I treat clients of every age with a variety of issues including, but not limited to, addiction, anxiety, attachment disorders, depression, divorce, grief and loss, intimacy disorders, marital conflict, parenting difficulties and post-traumatic stress. In addition to my doctorate, I have specialized training to help clients - and their families - in recovery from a variety of compulsions and addictions, including: alcohol, food, marijuana, money, sex, shopping and work addictions.

My style is direct and collaborative.  It has been my experience that most people try their best to work through feelings of being stuck and lost before contacting a therapist.  I am here to offer you my expertise to supplement what you have tried and learned on your own.  Together we can find the best strategies to give you relief from your distress and to help you gather the skills, knowledge and insight necessary to move forward.
